Murdoch's NoW WhistleBlower Sean Hoare murdered?

If you are searching for explanation or a detailed article about Sean Hoare's death you will not find it anywhere.
However due to the strange circumstances surrounding this case some people think that he might have been murdered. Some people have no doubts.
Of course that every discussion about Sean being murdered will be seen as conspiracy theory but this thought is in the hearts and minds of many and when people have the feeling they are being lied there is nothing left to do but being highly suspicious.
The strange allegation: "unexplained, but not thought to be suspicious" came in a very bad time.
Murdered or not the most striking about it all is that the possibility of a British journalist being murdered is in people's mind.
It should be out of the question such a conspiracy theory if English people trusted their politicians but English people think that it is possible that Sean Hoares was murdered because he knew too much about many people. We know the dangerous connections between journalists and politicians in some countries.
What answers did British people had till now? Apologies? And... they did not know about the phone-hacking? They didn't know about phone-hacking? They didn't know?
Crimes were committed and calling it a scandal is a wrong label.
These is what is in the minds of some people who are commenting at Youtube:

Ain't it delicious? The murderers own the media, so they'll be in charge of telling the braindead public what the "official" cause of this man's death was. And it will all be forgotten as soon as they switch to the next story.

NOT SUSPICIOUS??? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING?!?!?! the man at the centre of the biggest media/government scandal for the past 30 years mysteriously dies the day before Murdoch takes the witness stand. This shit goes all the way to the top, and by that i dont mean News Corp, by that i mean the police and the government. The big boys at the top are covering their arses. If the real truth came out, this country's government would collapse.

This is too much of a coincidence. I don't care if he did have a drug problem, to even rule out the possibility that he could have been killed would be completely delusional.

@Edwardjsa isnt it always a farce when parliament holds hearings? If it was serious, they would investigate seriously and convict these assholes, but parliament is on the take as is the police and the whole bunch of criminals running the world. These hearings have only helped these devils... wish the man with the foam had connected so we wouldnt have to look at the ugly rupert face

Poor bastard ; murdered because he was to reveal too much BIGGER stuff ; they do it like on the movie Michael Clayton ; bump you off with an injection between the toes to make it look like natural causes - they have the medical knowhow ; they can cover it up to look like suicide if they have enough power and money. Many are ABOVE the law

more here.
I took from Youtube because it is an immediate reaction after watching the video and people are expressing their feelings. It is outrageous that in UK people suspects that those who are representing them are capable of killing a journalist. This hypotheses should not be raised at all.
We are talking about United Kingdom.

News of the world: Murdochs in Parliament and death of hacking whistleblower Sean Hoare

I'm watching Mr. Murdoch father, "This is the most humble day of my life.", and son answering the MPs and came to write some remarks but came across with the Sean Hoares death last Monday.
Anita Singh did a good article at The Telegraph:

Phone hacking: Profile of Sean Hoare, the News of the World journalist and whistleblower
by Anita Singh
"Mr Hoare was the whistleblower who first linked Andy Coulson to the phone-hacking scandal.
The ex-News of the World showbusiness reporter readily admitted that he had been involved in phone hacking.
In an interview with the New York Times, published in September last year, he claimed that Coulson had "actively encouraged" him to intercept mobile phone messages at the News of the World, where his celebrity targets included David and Victoria Beckham.
Later that month, he spoke to BBC Radio 4's PM programme and went into further detail, alleging that Coulson had lied to Parliament when he denied knowledge of phone hacking.
"There's an expression: 'the culture of dark arts'. You were given a remit - just get the story, that's the most important thing," Hoare said.

"I've stood by Andy and been requested to tap phones, to hack into them and so on. He was well aware that the practice exists. To deny it is a lie. It's simply a lie.
"It was always done in the language of, 'Why don't you practise some of your dark arts on this', which was a metaphor for saying, 'Go and hack into a phone'.
"Such was the culture of intimidation and bullying that you would do it because you had to produce results. And, you know, to stand up in front of a Commons committee and say, 'I was unaware of this under my watch' was wrong."
Hoare claimed that hacking was "endemic" in the newspaper industry and said he was speaking out because he felt it unfair that royal correspondent Clive Goodman had been painted as a rogue reporter acting alone. However, Hoare also harboured a bitterness towards Coulson, a man he once regarded as a friend.
Coulson was in charge of The Sun's Bizarre column when Hoare, a former trainee on the Watford Observer, joined as a showbusiness reporter. Hoare moved to the Sunday People - where his boss was Neil Wallis - before moving to the News of the World in 2001, where Coulson had become deputy editor.
But in 2005, Coulson sacked him. Hoare's immersion in the showbiz life had led him to become dependent on drink and drugs. "I was paid to go out and take drugs with rock stars - take drugs with them, take pills with them, take cocaine with them. It was so competitive. You are going to go beyond the call of duty. You are going to do things that no sane man would do," he told The Guardian.
Fleet Street contemporaries remember him as an increasingly shambolic figure who loved the tabloid game even as the pressures took their toll. One recalled him turning up to cover the wedding of Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills in Ireland in 2002 with a wallet filled with cocaine.
"If you could imagine the stereotypical image of News of the World hack, it would be him," said one former colleague. "He was overweight and a heavy boozer. He was always propping up the bar, often before lunch. He was old school. But he loved the game and never recovered from losing his job."
Another colleague remembered him fondly as a journalist who was kind and generous to those around him. "He was a genuinely nice bloke who would help you no matter who you were, and always looked out for the junior reporters on the paper," said a former Sun reporter.
"But the drink and the drugs took their toll and he was deteriorating before our eyes. It was really sad to see."
His health deteriorated - he told Nick Davies, the Guardian journalist, that his liver was in such a bad way that a doctor marvelled at the fact he was still alive. Davies said after his death was announced that Hoare had shown courage in going public.
Hoare spent time in rehab in an attempt to conquer his addictions. He did not take payment for his interviews about the phone hacking scandal and expressed hopes that tabloid journalism would be cleaned up as a result of his whistleblowing.
Earlier this month, The New York Times carried fresh allegations from Hoare about 'pinging', a way of pinpointing an individual's location via their mobile phone signal. He claimed that Greg Miskiw, a former News of the World executive, had been engaged in the practice.
Police said that Hoare's death at his home in Watford was "unexplained, but not thought to be suspicious". That did not stop conspiracy theorists flooding the web with claims that he had become the latest victim of the 'dark arts'."

Now we have everything a huge scandal requires and I believe that it will end the same way: doubts, conspiracy theories, suspicions and some resignations.
I will keep watching the Murdochs at Parliament and count how many more "NO"s Mr. Murdoch father will say and can't hardly wait to watch Rebekah Brooks.
These are the news of the world!

Tim Sebastian: "It's about accountability, that is what journalism is for."

Tim Sebastian started his journalist carrer at Reuters in 1974 and it was at Hardtalk that he became known as the human polygraph for he has the skill of showing the interviewer's soul.
Still you will see at this video how unpretentious is his demeanor and the great person he is as you can verify at this a soft talking with him. A true journalist that makes BBC worthwhile.
"I remember a time when people were glue to the TV screens waiting for Tim Sebastian at Hardtalk to appear..."
Yes, I was glued to the TV. Now I wait for Doha Debates.

About Hardtalk Tim Sebastian says: "It was a process of trying to extract something as close to the truth." In his words and he did it.
and:
"The job was to ask questions on behalf of the people who couldn't do that. It is always useful in the media people to remind you who you're doing this for. This isn't some show business exercise."
I like Doha debates and people should try to understand the diversity of the Arabic world instead of having the stereotyped version that they are all terrorists, barbarians, uneducated we have to confess that it took a lot of effort to try not seeing Arabians this way since the mainstream media has bombarded us with proves that they are all so different from us, the civilized. Still some people didn't even start the process of trying to understand the diversity of Islam.
Doha debates is a good place to start.

The videos can be seen here and here there are some great special debates.

Larry Roibal's drawings on newspapers

Larry Roibal's is a freelancer illustrator with 20 years of experience.
He loves to draw and he illustrates the newspapers's news daily.
At his blog you can find a collection of "Ball point pen on the morning newsprint". He draws on the newspaper's articles and writes a little giving this way his views and analysis of what he reads.
Visiting his blog to reread the news and admire his work brings back the pleasure of reading the news since journalism is far from doing a good job in informing and telling the truth.
Fortunately we have blogs.

Athletes for Citizenship: the active citizens the mainstream media forgets

I don't understand why the mainstream media never has in it's agenda what people have been doing of good. When we watch the news today there's only room for blood, sweat and tears.
Without exception the TV channels worldwide broadcast not only the wars, conflicts, people in pain no matter what the reason, and even an accident that has not made victims or hurt people are detailed described.
It has some results being one of them keep the status quo alive and kicking since people feel overwhelmed and paralyzed in fear of such an evil world.
I try doing the opposite here showing the bright side of the vast majority of people in this world.

"Atletas pela Cidadania, 'Athletes for citizenship', is one of this projects that makes the flame alive. It is a non-profit organization that unites athletes and former athletes of diferent generations to raise awareness and mobilize people to support important national issues to promote a fair social development.
The strategy is simple: "the popularity and credibility of athletes makes it possible to call attention and mobilize Brazilians informing and acting for a better society." (from their site)
Here you can find the Brazilian athletes that are at the project.
Don't give up on human beings. There is also the "Instituto Guga Kuerten"/ "Guga Kuerten's Institute" that the tennis player Guga Kuerten created and other athletes who have done the same. I'll do another post about them.

Global Alert: Mall-shooting in Netherlands today: yesterday Brazil, tomorrow where?

animated_candle
"Netherlands, April 9 (UPI) -- A man who opened fire with a machine gun in a Dutch shopping mall Saturday killed five people and wounded nearly a dozen others, officials said.
Eyewitnesses said the gunman had long blond hair, appeared to be about 25 years old, and wore a leather jacket with camouflage pants"
"You hear about this sort of thing happening at American schools and you think that's a long way away," said Rob Kuipers, 50, a project manager.

"Now it's happened here in the Netherlands." .......

This is an invitation to think and try to solve some of the problems we are facing and not a panic alert. We have to stop fearing and be bold to try raise the questions and demand answers from those who can do something. We have the power even thou some want us to believe we don't. Yes, we have. Yes.

Brazilian school-shooter had mother who tried suicide and was schizophrenic

At this video is the brother of Wellington de Meneses Oliveira. It is edited and I'm sure that this interview could help understanding more about the killer, the monster, as he is being called, who shot the children but it was released only 1,29 minutes with the voice of the reporter narrating.
It is not at this part of the video that it is said his biological mother was schizophrenic. It was Rodrigo Neves, secretary of welfare state and humans right who claimed so.
The brother says that Wellington was always very low profile and didn't socialize too much; that the biological mother had mental problems and tried to commit suicide; he searched the internet about gun shots; that Wellington surprised the family with thoughts saying that he felt like doing something like destroying an airplane like it was done in USA; he went to psychologists but quited.
What is being said at Globo network is not everything and they keep repeating or adding new material to make people have only one opinion about the case.
I will stop following it and will no longer update because I don't have unbiased data.
I wish that humans right organizations were following the case but there is not such a thing in Brazil nowadays. Not for this case.
The discussion is being centered in the access to weapons. In Brazil the constitution don't give Brazilians the right for guns.
They only want to disarm people and are claiming that it is the main reason why the crime was possible.
ENOUGH! This is the misinformations I have for today! the last one.
Can any organization from any part of the world help? Thank you!
Update:
I found this site and want to share it:

"Menezes de Oliveira's classmates and former teachers said he was routinely bullied at school, rejected and taunted by girls in class, and forced to endure "constant humiliation" including being thrown into a school garbage can, according to Brazilian media.
Fellow students gave him the nasty nickname "Swing," because he walked with a limp, said former classmate Bruno Linhares, who lamented to O Globo newspaper that "the class fool turned into a criminal."
"They called him all kinds of names," said Linhares, 23, who studied with Menezes at Rio's Tasso da Silveira school where the bloodbath took place.
"I honestly do not know why he did not do that (massacre) with our own group," Linhares told local media.
Experts took to Brazil's airwaves, seeking to explain just how he could have turned to evil, with some saying Menezes could have been reacting to the abuse at school." .........

........."Menezes de Oliveira's family said their adopted son had left home eight months earlier, when his mother died and became even more withdrawn.
Adopted as a baby, he had five brothers and sisters who said he never had friends.
Recently he was looking disheveled, dressing in black and looking at weapons sites on the Web, his older sister Roselaine said.
"We found it odd. He had a long beard (and) said strange things. He spent his time on the Internet, had no friends, was very withdrawn," Roselaine, who last saw her brother seven months ago, told TV Band News.
According to one neighbors, Menezes "walked with his head down without speaking to anyone."
Menezes worked as a messenger, but was sacked last August.
"He was always alone but never aggressive," said one employee, adding that "everyone (at the company where Menezes used to work) was horrified" by the attack." (whole article here)

Update: 14:20 p.m. GMT
It is funny watching psychiatrists explaining the delusion. You can see how they don't understand and how some of them condemn their own perception of what they believe that was in the mind of someone they never saw. But they behave like this even with their own patients!

Pope wants to meet bloggers of all nations on 2 May, 2011

This Pope is pop! What about going to Vatican and have a chat representatives of the catholic church? They are asking bloggers to attend a meeting next 2, May at in Rome:

"A meeting for bloggers will take place in Rome on the afternoon of Monday 2 May 2011. The aim of the meeting, which is being organised by the Pontifical Councils for Culture and Social Communications, is to allow for a dialogue between bloggers and Church representatives, to listen to the experiences of those who are actively involved in this arena, and to achieve a greater understanding of the needs of that community. The meeting will also allow for a presentation of some of the initiatives to engage with new media practitioners being taken by the Church, both in Rome and at the local level....."
"...The meeting is taking place on the day after the Beatification of Pope John Paul II in order to take advantage of the likely presence in Rome of many bloggers. The invitation is open to all, but bloggers who wish to attend need to apply by emailing and sending a link to their blog. As space is limited to 150 seats and there is a desire to have a representation of the entire blogosphere, entrance passes and further details will be distributed with a view to the diversity of language and geography, typology of blogs (institutional or private, multivoice or personal), subjects of blogs, and timeliness of request." (read article here)

I would attend if it was in Vatican because I guess the catholic church is the only religion that has a state of it's own with a library that can only lend book to the Pope and some interesting characteristics. Since the blogger meeting will be in Rome I will think about it. This Pope is pop!

School shooting in Rio de Janeiro is not a terrorist act and has nothing to do with Columbine

A school shooting happened this morning in Rio de Janeiro at a poor part of the city. Some people are twitting that it has to do with Columbine or is a terrorist act. No. It has nothing to do either with Columbine or a terrorist act.
At least 13 dead, including gunman.
Never in the history of Rio de Janeiro an event like this happened. I will publish more later.
The gunman left a note.
Image: people waiting for news or just watching. Reuters via Al Jazeera.

Update: 04.30 p.m. GMT
I'm watching the news at TV and of course it is too soon to have any kind of answer. The problem is that it is hard to trust the institutions that are involved in the case and, of course, the mainstream media. I just wrote because I was amazed by the Columbine association some Brazilians did, as if it was glamorous having school shooting in Brazil just like in US.
But if Wellington Menezes de Oliveira, 23 years-old, who killed himself after being shot by a policeman, was taking any psychiatric drugs like Eric Harris, the Columbine boy was, Zoloft that was changed to Luvox, surely Brazilians will not know just like Americans don't know that antidepressants SSRIs are responsible for many of the school shootings in America as the FOX video shows.
Calling it a terrorist act is something I'm trying to understand but it has to do with something that was written in the note Wellington left and where he also is presumed to say he wanted to kill himself. This note is not yet available to the public.
It will take a while till I write about it again because I will wait for details and we know that these cases take time.

Update: 06:00 p.m. GMT
The whole day the Brazilian TV is focusing on this crime and journalists, psychiatrists, people related to security are giving their opinions.
Bottom line: It is time for catharsis and not journalism and in times like this there is no space for a real debate about mental health or about how to prevent crimes like that.
Wellington had studied at this school. It is ironic that although there is a word in Portuguese for bullying the English word is being used and a lot is being said about it since 2010.
It was said the note the murderer, that's the way he is being called in a way to calm down family members of that those children who died or were injured, left made no sense or was all disconnected. It was also said that he was related to a kind of Islamic religion. It was also said that in the note he claimed he was HIV positive. One of the psychiatrist killed Wellington once again this time morally. She said that his act was the spectacular way he found to give himself an identity. It was said that maybe he was bullied... and it is being said a lot of things... but ... misinformations are being spread instead of awareness. Wellington had studied at this school and it is not being taken as serious as it should. It is ironic that although there is a word in Portuguese for bullying the English word is being used and a lot is being said about it since 2010.
Let's wait for tomorrow.
But this is the last update for this post and I will only post again about this tragedy when the cathartic mood is over.
May all these children R.I.P.

Kevin Carter will never be forgotten

I'm changing a little and for some days I'll be showing the Hell part of Hella Heaven.
This picture is very famous but it will always be very shocking. This is the story of the photographer:

"Kevin Carter (1961-1994) - South Africa Pulitzer Prize winner, Kevin Carter, took his own life months after winning the Pulitzer Prize for feature photography for a haunting Sudan famine picture. A free-lance photographer for Reuter and Sygma Photo NY and former PixEditor of the Mail&Gaurdian, Kevin dedicated his carrer to covering the ongoing conflict in his native South Africa. He was highly honoured by the prestigious Ilford Photo Press Awards on several occasions including News Picture of the Year 1993. Kevin is survived by a seven year old daughter, Megan. (source: Picturenet)"
"On 27 July 1994 Carter drove to the Braamfontein Spruit river, near the Field and Study Centre, an area where he used to play as a child, and took his own life by taping one end of a hose to his pickup truck’s exhaust pipe and running the other end to the passenger-side window. He died of carbon monoxide poisoning at the age of 33. Portions of Carter's suicide note read:

"I am depressed ... without phone ... money for rent ... money for child support ... money for debts ... money!!! ... I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings and corpses and anger and pain ... of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners...I have gone to join Ken [recently deceased colleague Ken Oosterbroek] if I am that lucky."[8]

What if CNN, FOX or BBC asked for donation, or, independent media also needs money!

I believe that it's common knowledge that to have these channels broadcasting it takes a lot of money, reason why some media tycoons like Murdoch are the owners of TV channels.
It is also common knowledge that once the media has an owner freedom of information and freedom of speech are dramatically affected.
We do have independent journalism like Democracy Now. Once at their site we stumble upon their donate and store bottoms just at the top or the header of their pages:

Donate

A daily TV/radio news program, hosted by Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez, airing on over 900 stations, pioneering the largest community media collaboration in the United States.

We think that it is always the same, our money is being asked to finance everything and "No, I don't want to buy a mug!".
The prize we pay for not donating is keeping on receiving biased informations, lies and all the problems that the mainstream media are promoting today.
I'm tired of being lied so, if I don't have money to make a donation I volunteer or take another action like doing this post to promote Democracy Now.
Click at the picture to visit their site. They don't have any tycoon to indoctrinate us and make us believe in lies. They are also advertisement-free.
These sites, I'm including journalists that blog like Philip Dawdy at Furious Seasons to whom I dedicated an award, are not that graphic-appealing and don't have many of the glamorous beautiful faces. I don't rely on this kind of beauty and I rather be well informed.

Stream of consciousness in pictures

Post updated:
I was searching to write about stream of consciousness in the literary sense and came across with some works in painting and in photography that has the title stream of Consciousness. I published two pictures I found interesting and left a message to the photographer as I always do and got an e-mail. I've been blogging for two years and for the first time someone complained. No problems. I have received many thanks for promoting people out of the mainstream artistic scene.
These pictures are mine.
Right one: Stream of consciousness when we are facing the horrors of the world (Anna Politkovskaya is at the picture behind my avatar)
Left picture: Looking at James Joyce's Ulysses that will be one of the authors I'll talk about tomorrow when approaching stream of consciousness in the literary sense. Why should I promote a starlet when I can have Vanessa Redgrave at 'Julia" in a picture?
Now I understand why some people get the pictures, publish them without credits and use them as they want. But I cannot do it. Only once in two years it caused misunderstanding.
Now I'm stimulated to do a stream of consciousness photo with water... YaY!

Alexander Lebedev offered 1 million dollars reward for information about Anna Politkovskaya's killers

You might be surprised if you search for the first post of this blog. It's a Anna Politkovskaya's quotation and I have already published other posts about this woman who was fighting to tell the truth about Russian corruption and other problems.
Alexander Lebedev was the co-owner with Anna of the newspaper Novaya Gazeta and he was devastated at that time and offered the 1 million dollars reward as you can see at this video.
Now it seems he forgot about her or is frightened but I'm publishing this post because Anna's death will never be forgotten. He even forgot he said that the Russian secret services as "totally out of control".
I just watched him at BBC's interview with Stephen Sackur and when asked about Anna's killers he showed he doesn't care any more.
She is an amazing woman whose work could make a huge change in this world since she was denouncing those who work the other way. So, I will keep asking: 'Who killed Anna Politkovskaya?' and I'm not alone since Anna has fans all over the world.
At this video you will see her blood at the entrance of her house and her body being carried in a black plastic bag. This is the first time I saw it and I confess I was horrified. But it's worthy watching 'Murdering the Truth in Russia" you can find here.
For the first time I write a post like this but I cannot keep silent or touch very serious questions in a tangent way. Sometimes we have to scream to be heard and a human being like Anna Politkovskaya deserves so. This is the least I can do.

Anna Politkovskaya an homage and seven great women

This is not the first time I publish about Anna Politikovskaya. August, 30 would be her birthday and... I don't think I have to explain.
I took pictures at my virtual garden in front of the fence where I hanged some posters. At the left side is Vanessa Redgrave in the movie Julia.
We are talking about five great women since Lilian Hellman, who wrote the book that was adapted for the movie, has Jane Fonda as Lilian .
Now I'm remembering Natasha Richardson Vanessa's Redgrave daughter who did the movie Nell with Jodie Foster. The only man is Rimbaud who is designed in white graffiti at the fence.
