Penny Marshall is Easy, Breezy, Beautiful

Penny Marshall picked up her best white dress-shirt from the bottom of her hamper, ran her fingers through her hair, tossed on her tinted lime eyeglasses, and headed out to the 2008 Pre-Emmys DPA Gifting Lounge at the Luxe Hotel in Beverly Hills. She even took time out of her busy schedule to sign a can. She's a giver.

I'm glad that they're still doing the gifting lounges before the award shows. I mean, with a war going on for the 7th consecutive year, gas prices at about $3,000 a gallon, major banks and insurance agencies filing for Chapter 11, the stock market shitting the bed, and weekly destructive hurricanes touching down in the US, I think it only makes sense the rich and famous continue to receive free crap. They deserve it. They're struggling too. Celebrities, they're just like us!
